Dinner was held February 11, 2011 at the Carman Active Living Centre. 161 people were in attendance and they were served a traditional Ukrainian meal of borscht, perogies, holopchis (cabbage rolls), sausage and sauerkraut

People were entertained by Kalyna, a five-piece Ukrainian band from Winnipeg.

The evening's dinner raised a record total of $4,340.48 and this allows the Alzheimer Society to provide services and support for those affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Thank you to the many volunteers who donated auction prizes, sold auction tickets, helped set-up tables and chairs, prepared and served food, donated scrumptious desserts and to the local newspaper and radio station for their coverage of the event.
