The Carman dinner, was held on February 19th at the new Active Living Centre in Carman. 180 Guests were treated to delicious, homemade Ukrainian dinner including borscht, perogies, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, sausages and a variety of desserts. There was also entertainment from a 4-piece band who played bluegrass, country and gospel.

This event was a tremendous success raising $3,800. Proceeds will go to support the programs and services for the over 19,000 Manitobans living with Alzheimer's disease or other form of dementia and their caregivers.

The event organizer would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers who helped in the kitchen, setting up tables and chairs, selling auction tickets and organizing prizes, donating the desserts and donating auction prizes.

The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba would like to thank Bob Kowalchuk for organizing this event.
