Community Education
The Alzheimer Society works to create informed and supportive communities for people with dementia. Respectful communities are established when everyone in the caring relationship communicates and values the contribution of the person with dementia. Speakers

organizations that serve seniors and cultural groups and educate them
about dementia. They also create awareness of
the
Society’s programs and services. Outreach staff work closely with
community
groups to ensure they provide services that are easily accessed by
people with
Alzheimer's disease or another dementia.
