About Us
For more than 30 years, the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba has played an important role in the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, their families and caregivers.
We're a leading voice for Manitobans whose lives have been impacted by dementia, and we're committed to a high standard of ethics that reflect our core values.
We're also part of a national federation that's working to alleviate the personal and social consequences of the disease, while promoting research into the causes and the search for a cure.

Safely Home™
People with dementia sometimes lose the ability to recognize familiar places, to communicate, or to remember their own names or addresses. They may leave home, become confused and get lost.
