In the foyer of our provincial office stands a beautiful bronze sculpted “Tree of Memories”. On this Tree are engraved brass leaves displaying individual names in honour of those family members who have passed while battling Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. This commemorative monument came about at the request of family members who have experienced a loss in their family.

The next “Tree of Memories“ leaf ceremony will take place soon. If you would like to be notified of the next ceremony date please email astadnyk@alzheimer.mb.ca. You are invited to honour the memory of your loved one by adding a commemorative leaf to our “Tree of Memories”. If you wish, you have the opportunity to say a few words as you personally place your leaf on the Tree.

Please carefully consider this opportunity to honour the memory to your loved one and give hope to the thousands of people and their families still living with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia.

For a gift of $250 to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, you will receive an engraved brass leaf with the name of your loved one that you can personally place on our “Tree of Memories”.

To purchase a leaf or to participate in this ceremony, you can please call our Donor Relations & Volunteer Coordinator, Audrey Stadnyk, at 204-943-6622 Ext 223 or email her at astadnyk@alzheimer.mb.ca.
