The Alzheimer Society’s 19th annual Chili Cook Off –
A Great Success!
This event took place on Friday, March 14 from 6 to 7:30 pm at Houstons Country Roadhouse in Brandon.
Competitors added their own secret ingredients to the traditional beef, beans, tomatoes and spices to create their attempt at an award-winning chili.
Diners enjoyed a bowl of chili, a bun and a drink for only $10. The evening also included a Rainbow Auction and a 50/50 draw.
The winners were as follows:
1) FUEL INJECTED – RED HOT CHILI PREPPERS
2) THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE MILD – HOT AIR
3) NO HOLDS BARRED – HOT CHILI MAMA
4) PEOPLE’S CHOICE – HILLCREST PACE PEPPERS
