What is Minds in Motion®?

Minds in Motion® is a two-hour program, running for eight weeks, that combines physical activity, socialization and mental stimulation for people living with early to moderate symptoms of dementia to attend with a family member or community friend.

The Minds in Motion® program unites families and communities. While there is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, research states that combining physical activity with mental and social stimulation may slow the disease progression. The Minds in Motion® program brings together people with dementia and their family members and friends in a way that is not influenced by illness.
