What is Minds in Motion®?

Minds in Motion® is a two-hour program, running for eight weeks that connects people living with early to moderate symptoms of dementia through physical activity, socialization and cognitive activities to attend with a family member or community friend.

The Minds in Motion® program unites families and communities. While there is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, research states that combining physical activity with cognitive and social stimulation may slow the disease progression. The Minds in Motion® program brings together people with dementia and their family members and friends in a way that is not influenced by illness.
